This is my third BMW 750i - there’s something about this range-topping luxo-barge that means it’ll always have a place in TheCarguys’ garage. Epic power, supreme luxury, but with a sporting edge that allows for extremely rapid continent-crossing progress. It also comes with a brick-line 80s phone, a phosphorescent orange glow from the dials, and it is one of BMW’s best-designed cars.

Hexagon Classics was in the process of closing down its used BMW department to focus on high-end supercar classics, and a chance enquiry led to an unbeatable deal on this super-low (24k) mileage V12 masterpiece, in Tomorrow Never Dies silver with an unusual blue leather interior.

This car has now been wrapped dark blue, and has Alpina alloys fitted, which stand out well against the darker body colour.

In the near future I am going to remove the wrap and take it back to silver, fix a damaged nearside wingmirror, and give it a BMW specialist to upgrade the brakes and suspension. My intention is to make this one of the best condition 750is in the world.
