It’s no exaggeration to say that I’d been looking for this car for 15 years. Since 1999 I promised myself I was going to have an original pop-up headlight, manual Honda NSX (in silver with a black roof - the best combo imho).

And then, out of the blue, whilst browsing the Internet, as you do (if you keep hosing money away on cars and watches), there it was. The exact spec, perfect, low-ish mileage, NSX. And by incredible coincidence, it was being sold by Nutley Sports and Prestige - a dealer I had just bought a mint Jaguar XJ40 from. A quick phone call and the Jag was swapped for the NSX. One of the greatest deals of my life!

This is one of the earliest RHD NSXs, in great condition, and it’s one of the best driver’s cars in the world. Sure, the radio never worked (spent a fortune investigating that one - gave up in the end), it’s had battery issues, and a broken interior door handle took 4 MONTHS to arrive from Japan. But I wouldn’t swap it for the world.

An icon. A true Q car. A piece of automotive history. A keeper.
