It’s finally happened! Ever since Damian picked up his brand new Porsche 718 Spyder in 2019 he wanted to make some changes to the interior upholstery to emulate the look of a 1950s Porsche RSK racer.
And now, six months later, a window in Dave the Trimmer’s schedule meant a quick trip to Milton Keynes and a week spent ripping out Porsche own Alcantara sports seats, and re-upholstering them in aged brown leather. Boom!
And this is the first reveal of the results – both to you, and to Jason. And what better place than at The Octane Collection in the south of England.
How do the new seats look? Does the car now look like a modern evocation of an RSK? Has anything else been re-upholstered at the same time? Will Jason like it? Has this simple change now completely changed the look and feel of the new car? And what’s next for the modding of this vehicle? All these questions and more will be answered in this week’s episode.
