And here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the first episode of our new mini-series – Drive Every Ferrari! And what a car we have picked to kick off this epic challenge – the 365GTB/4 Spider - otherwise known as the Daytona.
This wonderful Ferrari road car was launched in 1968, and although over 1,400 were made, there were only 122 official spiders, and less than 10 official right hand drive examples. Which is probably why the owner of this coupe decided to have his car converted to a spider to see what the fuss is all about.
In this episode, Damian looks at the design, the V12 naturally-aspirated engine, the car’s history, vital statistics, its importance, and of course, what it’s like to drive.
Drive Every Ferrari is a series within the main TheCarGuys.tv channel, which aims to get behind the wheel of every Ferrari road car from the company’s origins right up to present day. It’s going to be extremely tough to get them all, but with your help, we’ll get there. If you have a Ferrari that hasn’t been covered yet, please get in touch and see if your car can be the star of a future episode. Damian@thecarguys.tv
